Creative robotics is a small British company that develops technology for creative robot builders, hobbyists and hackers.
We were set up in 2011 by Dr Bill Bigge with the aim of taking a bunch of ideas developed whilst studying and working at the University of Sussex. The first of these ideas to make it from concept to product was the HUB-ee wheel; borne out of years of work constructing small robotic platforms they are small wheel hubs that contain an integrated motor, gear sensor and motor driver.
We are grateful to the following companies for their help, advice and support:
PDC Ltd - The Plastics Design Consultancy who sourced and managed all our injection molding tools from China, and generally dished out good advice and generous support.
Solarbotics Ltd - For road-testing, feedback, some helpful advice, encouragement and just for being nice people.
SeeedStudio - They make the PCB's that go in HUB-ee wheels. Great service, excellent price.
